Deloraine High School has 27 teaching staff and caters for 295 students from Year 7 to Year 12. The school's address is Lansdowne Place DELORAINE 7304. Phone (03) 6362 2742.

Schools receive an annual resource package for the purpose of providing educational programs for students throughout that year. Schools may also receive other funding from the Department as well as receiving income from other sources. Generally, like the resource package, these funds should be used in the year that they are received. However, in some circumstances, schools may need to carry funds over from one year to the next. A reasonable carry over is 25% of a school's annual resourcing package. As at January 31 2009, Deloraine High School has carried over the equivalent of 27% of its annual resourcing package.

Information about Deloraine High School (provided by the school)
From 2005-2007 Deloraine High School underwent a period of instability with a number of principal changes. In late 2007 a permanent principal was appointed to the school and since then stability has started to return to the school through an innovative, motivated and highly competent staff. In response to issues identified in late 2007, a contemporary teaching and learning model was developed to meet the learning needs of Deloraine students in the 21st century. Since 2008 staff professional learning has been directed at improving skills in implementing a student centred, personalised approach. Priority is being given to curriculum (including assessment), student support (including behaviour management) and the practices which support these two areas. Positive outcomes are starting to be seen.
