Lenah Valley Primary School has 29 teaching staff and caters for 451 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school's address is 11 Creek Road LENAH VALLEY 7008. Phone (03) 6228 0311. Schools receive an annual resource package for the purpose of providing educational programs for students throughout that year. Schools may also receive other funding from the Department as well as receiving income from other sources. Generally, like the resource package, these funds should be used in the year that they are received. However, in some circumstances, schools may need to carry funds over from one year to the next. A reasonable carry over is 25% of a school's annual resourcing package. As at January 31 2009, Lenah Valley Primary School has carried over the equivalent of 95% of its annual resourcing package. Literacy and numeracy skills are explicitly taught in our 2 hour literacy block and a one hour numeracy block each day. We pride ourselves on our high levels of academic excellence in all areas of the curriculum. Our partnership with parents is of upmost importance to us. Sharing knowledge and understanding of your child informs teachers and contributes to the development of responsive programs.
