Bridgewater Primary School has been merged with Green Point Primary, creating East Derwent Primary School. East Derwent Primary School has 33 teaching staff and caters for 384 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school's address is 15 Bowden Drive BRIDGEWATER 7030. Phone (03) 6263 7688.

Schools receive an annual resource package for the purpose of providing educational programs for students throughout that year. Schools may also receive other funding from the Department as well as receiving income from other sources. Generally, like the resource package, these funds should be used in the year that they are received. However, in some circumstances, schools may need to carry funds over from one year to the next.

Information about Bridgewater Primary School (provided by the school)
The establishment of East Derwent Primary School occurred this year through a merger of Bridgewater and Green Point Primary Schools. Despite being comprised of two former schools, East Derwent Primary School is treated as a new school for data purposes. School improvement data will not be available until 2010 when data on key 2009 achievement measures will be provided. The data included on the following pages is provided for historical reasons only.
