In 2008 we focussed on building skills in teaching children to write, implementing a school wide social skill system and strengthening the way our staff work in teams. DFPS provides learning opportunities for children 0 to 12 years of age.. We prioritise Literacy and Numeracy by providing the extra resources of Flying Start and Gr 3-4 Literacy support, volunteer tutors and teacher assistant time. Our curriculum includes PE, Visual Art, LOTE and Library and is enriched by gross motor development programs, Art extension and choir. Oto4@Dodges builds positive experiences in Literacy, Music, physical and social skills for our youngest children. We invest heavily in contemporary IT. Our grounds and facilities are highly used community resources. Students benefit from the diverse skills of local volunteers in tutor programs, sports coaching, music and visual arts groups, the breakfast club and ground improvement projects. We are committed to supporting all children particularly those with additional needs.
