Dodges Ferry Primary School has 29 teaching staff and caters for 400 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school's address is 538 Old Forcett Road DODGES FERRY 7173. Phone (03) 6265 8116.

Schools receive an annual resource package for the purpose of providing educational programs for students throughout that year. Schools may also receive other funding from the Department as well as receiving income from other sources. Generally, like the resource package, these funds should be used in the year that they are received. However, in some circumstances, schools may need to carry funds over from one year to the next. A reasonable carry over is 25% of a school's annual resourcing package. As at January 31 2009, Dodges Ferry Primary School has carried over the equivalent of 16% of its annual resourcing package. Schools also receive additional funding to help reduce early years class sizes. The average class size at Dodges Ferry Primary School for groups containing Prep and Year 1 students is 25.
