Clarence High School has 39 teaching staff and caters for 462 students from Year 7 to Year 10. The school's address is Wentworth Street BELLERIVE 7018. Phone (03) 6244 2544.

Schools receive an annual resource package for the purpose of providing educational programs for students throughout that year. Schools may also receive other funding from the Department as well as receiving income from other sources. Generally, like the resource package, these funds should be used in the year that they are received. However, in some circumstances, schools may need to carry funds over from one year to the next. A reasonable carry over is 25% of a school's annual resourcing package. As at January 31 2009, Clarence High School has carried over the equivalent of 36% of its annual resourcing package.

Information about Clarence High School (provided by the school)
Clarence High School is a co-educational school that provides an innovative and quality curriculum. Our students are encouraged to understand and value their ability to learn and we identify relevant and challenging learning outcomes for everyone. Students are assisted to perform against nationally agreed outcomes. High expectations, focused teaching and engaged learning time are the characteristics of quality schooling by which we want our performance to be judged. We believe that the quality of teaching practice and the relationships between teachers and learners are the fundamental building blocks of a quality school, and we judge our progress on best practice indicators for quality teaching and leadership.
