Campania District High School has 11 teaching staff and caters for 150 students from Kindergarten to Year 10. The school's address is 2 Union Street CAMPANIA 7026. Phone (03) 6260 4133.

Schools receive an annual resource package for the purpose of providing educational programs for students throughout that year. Schools may also receive other funding from the Department as well as receiving income from other sources. Generally, like the resource package, these funds should be used in the year that they are received. However, in some circumstances, schools may need to carry funds over from one year to the next. A reasonable carry over is 25% of a school's annual resourcing package. As at January 31 2009, Campania District High School has carried over the equivalent of 18% of its annual resourcing package. Schools also receive additional funding to help reduce early years class sizes. The average class size at Campania District High School for groups containing Prep and Year 1 students is 17.

Information about Campania District High School (provided by the school)
Campania District High School is situated in the Coal River Valley. The school has 150 students from Kindergarten toYear 10. We are committed to teaching the children in our care to communicate, calculate, create, think and solve problems effectively. However, we believe a good school does more than that. We hope the students at Campania will learn to tolerate, respect, cooperate and form friendships with whom they work and play. The priorities of the school are to continue to improve in the areas of literacy and numeracy. In 2009 the school has introduced more ICT opportunities and a whole school program teaching the essential skills needed by students in the areas of sustainability. The school is a member of the Australian Sustainable School Initiative (AuSSI) Program. The students come from a drought affected area and the learning that occurs through this program are essential life skills. As always, teaching and learning is the focus of the school towards improving student outcomes.
